We at Woody World Packer love wood works, design and handmade furniture and apart from designing and making our own furniture we also love to get inspired and watching someone else`s work.
When we discovered the Tolga Woodworks Gallery and Café in Tolga, we had to take a look at their beautiful gallery and try their coffee ( another love affair ) in their attached café.
Tolga is located in the Northern part of the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland.
Tolga Woodworks offers a range of beautiful hand-made items such as furniture, artworks, paintings, and jewellery all made by local artists with materials like wood, steel, glass, timber and leather.
Here is a little impression of the wonderful items we discovered.
Coffee Art
After having a look around in the gallery we went for a coffee and a treat in the attached café. The coffee was good and even better where the beautiful arty cups they serve it in, which you can buy in the gallery as well.
They also offer soups, salads and cakes.
So if you are in the Atherton Tablelands or on your way up to Cooktown make sure you visit this little gem, as it is really close to all the main places in the Atherton Tablelands and located on the highway up North.
