Away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak and Kerobokan, but yet very close, Kokonut Suites is a little family friendly paradise.
Inspired & managed by Avilla Hospitality, Located between Kerobokan and Seminyak, Kokonut Suites is sharing the same complex with the popular Livingstone Café and Bakery, a trendy and hip gem where people from all over the place score their breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.
Batubelig Beach is around the corner and many restaurants and shops are nearby too, you if you wish you can mingle into the vibrant life of Seminyak.
A warm welcome at Kokonut Suites
As soon as we arrived, we got friendly welcomed by their lovely staff and we immediately felt the homey atmosphere. Check in went very smooth while we enjoyed a delicious but very sweet welcome drink. Sem made friends straight away with the lovely lady from the reception who gave him a balloon.
Our luggage got transported to our room by another super friendly staff member. We stayed in a very spacious two bedroom suite with swimming pool access. Perfect when travelling with the family to Bali.
Two Bed Room Suites with Pool access | Family heaven
The two bedroom apartment is huge with 120 sqm. The large open living room is in the middle of the apartment with a kitchen, workspace ( like a complete office ) a very comfy couch and basically everything ( and more ) you need during a comfy family holiday.
On both sides of the living room are the bedrooms with their own bathroom. One of our rooms had a bath in their bathroom ( with shower ) and the other one had just a shower.
As we were travelling with our family of 4 adults and 1 kid, having 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms was very convenient.
The outside area was amazing with a large deck, little privately garden and with a few steps, you could dip into the beautiful pool.
The only thing that surprised us – and not only at the Kokonut Suites but at a lot of Balinese Family Accommodations – , is that there were only 2 chairs outside, while you are in an apartment for 4 persons…
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool at Kokonut Suites is lovely. It has a unique shape and the surroundings are just very relaxing, green and lush.
It is lovely designed and decorated and even has a pool floatie 😉
Kids’ Playground
There is also a Kid’s corner which is open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM. It was small, but there were a few nice toys and even a PlayStation to keep your kids entertained for a while.
Breakfast at the Super Hip Living Stone Bakery
The popular Livingstone Cafe & Bakery opens daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Kokonut Suites’ guests and of course for the public.
In our package we had our daily breakfast includes, which we had at the Living Stone Bakery.
Every morning it was buzzing with people having their breakfast, fresh espresso, delicious bakery treats, and nomads working while enjoying a bubbly city style cafe.
Breakfast was lovely and big, Lunch was ok, but the Pizza’s where horrible. So go to the Livingstone Cafe for your Breakfast and Lunch, but stay away if you want to eat a nice Pizza’s as they were the worst.
A verdict on the Kokonut Suites
We really loved our stay at the Kokonut Suites in Seminyak and we think it’s a great place to go when you are travelling with your family to Bali.
The location is convenient, their staff is lovely, the serenity of the gardens and the swimming pool are really relaxed and the apartments are just amazing.
There is also a spa and a fitness room if you would be interested in this.
The only thing you need to consider when you are in one of the apartments on the 2nd or 3rd floor is that Kokonut Suites doesn’t have a lift, so if you have small children or aren’t keen on too many stairs, definitely go for one of the ground floor apartments with the garden, like we did.
