We are pretty stoked with the end result of our First DIY Caravan Renovation Project! What do you think?
Sooo… We hear you guys thinking… What’s the exciting news… Well…
We really enjoyed our first Caravan Renovation project ( We didn’t do each other’s head in, so this is promising for the future, as eventually, we would love to renovate an old house ) and after living in our lovely Renovated 1988 Hallmark Grand Deluxe caravan for over a year, we decided it was time for our next project.
So, we bought another caravan!! And we sold our old one within 24 hours on Facebook with over 400 likes, 200 comments and over 50 inbox messengers and emails !!! ( like holy sh#t! we didn’t expect that! ) We even had questions if we sold it with the complete interior included or if we could come and renovate their caravans haha – We should start a business in this 😉
Instead, we got ourselves a new project…
We were sad to see our oldie go, but we wanted something a bit newer and bigger. Our oldie was from 1988 and ‘only’ 18 feet and we upgraded to a Windsor Caravan from 2007 which is 24 feet, has a bunk bed in the back of the caravan, a little bathroom with shower and toilet, bigger fridge, much more storage, a separate living/kitchen area and a separate double island bed( room ) area… Almost like a tiny house.
So a huge upgrade, and very convenient, as we still really love ‘camping life’ after more than a year, and we will definitely keep on travelling Australia/living in a caravan for another few years at this stage.
Our new caravan doesn’t need any big structural renovations like our old caravan, but we will definitely throw our Interior design and styling skills in the mix 😉
Stay tuned for pictures and updates!
